Preparing For Economic Disaster

If you are a prepper and preparing for SHTF, you may be disappointed that things aren’t going to turn out the way you expect them to. SHTF is a slow process and today I’d like to connect the dots on what has already happened and what we can expect to happen in the future. As always I will be offering my thoughts about the best way to prepare moving forward.

First, SHTF started during the summer of 2020 with the summer of protests over George Floyd. This was the beginning of what most preppers want to call SHTF, but it’s not the way you think. If you’ve watched my previous video on Cybergeddon where I talk about 5th generation warfare, what happened in 2020 might make more sense to you.

We’re being attacked using this new style of warfare through platforms such as social media and the MSM. Some of this is coming from within such as the alphabet agencies, but why? Each of these agencies fight for funding each year from Congress. The NSA needs more money for surveillance, so if everything is peaceful how do you get more funding to deal with potential threats? The FBI needs more funding to fight crime domestically, so if we’re not dealing with civil unrest or the threats of domestic extremism how do they get funding? The Military Industrial Complex needs more purchase orders, considering they’re a large part of the economy, how could we ever have world peace? The Pharmaceutical industry needs more illness and disease, so as they find cures to current epidemics how does the business model continue to grow without new and emerging diseases? It’s not a conspiracy, it’s just how our economy works. Without a problem to solve these agencies and industries may cease to exist within our economy and society as influential entities able to dictate policy.

As we’re finding out in the Twitter files and Congressional hearings many of these alphabet agencies may be using their influence to influence the general public including how we react by determining what we see and don’t see. As humans who have been psychologically indoctrinated from birth to death, these different scenarios can be more predictable, especially if those creating these fires know how to trigger specific reactions, so why wouldn’t they use it to their advantage? This doesn’t mean that this is what’s going on, but the potential for malice without consequences is there.

The war in Ukraine and the lock-downs a few years ago have been a huge disruptor to our supply chain and economy. In Ukraine, although it’s not really being reported, 5th generation warfare is showing a lot of success on both sides. As each side uses this new warfare to their advantages such as Ukraine convincing the leader of the Wagner Group that he was in danger from Putin causing a temporary coup or Russia hacking the Ukrainian grid to take down communications for more decisive battlefield victories, there is a huge potential for spillover into other countries. There are reports that anonymous is operating on behalf of the West inside of Russia, so what is preventing Russia from doing the same thing to the West?

The war in Ukraine is proving to be hazardous to the global food supply, but don’t worry America is rich and can outbid the poorer countries. Recently we’ve also seen Saudi Arabia cut back and even stop supplying the West, if not the rest of the world, with oil. If we don’t have oil to produce fuel for transport and we don’t have enough food due to war in important countries or famines in other regions how long until we have no food in our stores here in America? Don’t worry no one is coming for your homestead as the world starves.

We could talk about doom and gloom all day long, but what does it solve? The only thing we should be really focusing on is solutions to problems because that’s how our economy and society work. As I’ve been saying for some time there are multiple solutions to these problems, it’s just a matter of how motivated you are to survive in turbulent times.

First, even in the worst of times there is money to be made and the economy will continue to move unless there’s a mass extinction event. So, how do you ensure that you survive over the other guy because there will always be food, it just may be more expensive than the average American and afford to buy and live the way we’ve been living. As wars rage the population will be less and less which is what we need anyways with the new Industrial Revolution. The days of large factories with hoards of workers is becoming a thing of the past, so how do you remain relevant?

You remain relevant by improving your skills to meet the demands of the times. Currently if you aren’t familiar with technology to the point where you can administer, maintain, secure and even create then you may be deemed a useless eater in the near future. There are many ways you can choose to do this by either becoming self taught or even going to school, either way you will be required to learn new skills that are in high demand in order to survive.

Secondly, you need to be prepared to navigate towards opportunities through migration. One thing I’ve learned in my travels is that regional opportunities are temporary. For the last 20 years Texas has been growing at an alarming rate, now it’s Florida. For the last 30 years most technology has come out of the Silicon Valley, Chicago and New York, so where will it be in the future since most tech companies are relocating? If you as an individual aren’t willing to relocate due to attachment or comfort then you may not survive as well as you could by migrating. In a world where scarcity, culture and opportunities are always changing, if you’re not willing to change with them then you will be left behind with little or nothing to show for it.

Lastly, especially as Americans, the abundance and comforts that we’ve enjoyed over the last 100 years is quickly becoming a thing of the past. It is important to learn to live as a minimalist and survive on the go. As we deal with wars, famines and crazy weather it will be important to learn this skill quickly. In the near future areas that are considered fertile may not be as fertile, so that homestead may not be as viable as you’d hoped. Nature is changing and has declared war on the human population, it’s just a matter of time before you suffer the consequences. In my travels I met a farmer who complained that the excessive rain caused lower yields and in other areas lack of rain has ruined crops, it’s just a matter of time before it ends up on your doorstep.

Another thing that I’ve seen in my travels is the amount of waste that happens daily. I’ve gone to restaurants where I see tables being cleared with a good portion of the meal going to waste. I’ve seen clothing donations dry up and because the transient population has no place to do laundry causing them to throw away dirty clothes. As I walk through town I see cigarette butts where it is less than half smoked just thrown on the ground, yet people are crying broke. If we are going to weather the storm it is important the we immediately stop wasting because it’s only a matter of time before currency becomes worthless, famines affect the richest countries and resource wars end up on our front porch. Those who learn to scavenge and use everything to its last drop will have the best chance of survival in the near future. So, how will you prepare for this inevitable future?
